Certified Ritualist Jewel

Recognising Excellence in Capitular Ritual

The Grand Chapter has authorised a new ritualist jewel for those who received one of the five levels of certification. The jewel, shown on the right, is awarded as follows:

•   1st Level Certification — Triple Tau on a red cord. Earning this designation requires mastery of:

•   Opening and closing a chapter in form;

•   Dispensing from labour to refreshment, and from refreshment to labour;

•   Receiving the District Deputy Grand High Priest and the Most Excellent Grand High Priest; and

•   Reciting the test oath.

•   2nd through 5th Level — Each of the four capitular degrees denotes a level of certification. The awards are:

•   Mark Master — Purple Bar

•   Past Master (Virtual) — Blue Bar

•   Most Excellent Master — White Bar

•   Holy Royal Arch Mason — Red Bar

For each of the levels of certification, you will need to know all the ritual and the floor moves associated with that part of the certification.

To enable companions to learn these parts as taught by the Board of Grand Examiners, Capitular Standard Clubs have grown throughout the state. The meeting schedule for these clubs is shown on the Capitular Standard Clubs’ page.
