Companion Mark Hopf was born in Romeoville, Illinois. He attended DeVry University and DePaul University, earning a Masters of Science in Computer Science, and is currently working as Sr. Developer at United Airlines. He is married to Tara Martin who is an accountant, and has a college age daughter, Brianna, who is very passionate about ice skating and learning to build rockets.

Worshipful Brother Hopf became more interested in masonry after watching the movie American Treasure on vacation. He then asked a family friend about masonry and was immediately given an application. He applied to Euclid Lodge No. 65 in Naperville Illinois. He was raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason on November 15th, 2005.  He served as Worshipful Master of Euclid in 2019.

Noble Mark Hopf joined Medinah Shriners in October of 2016, and has been a member of Medinah Patrol since 2021.     

Companion Hopf was exalted to the Holy Royal Arch degree in the spring of 2016, and served as EHP in 2020-21. He has been DDGHP of the Third District of GRAC-IL since 2021.

Companion Hopf was Greeted as a Select Master in 2016, in Adoniram Council No. 95 in Naperville Illinois. He served as Thrice Illustrious Master in 2021-23, and is currently Recorder.  

Sir Knight Hopf was Knighted in the summer of 2016 in Trinity Commandery No. 80, and was Commander of Trinity Apollo Commandery No. 1. in 2023-25.
